Here at FEPS we are delighted to be expanding our development team, welcoming our new Support Developer, Dominic Ponsonby. As part of his introduction, we have asked Dominic to answer some questions so you can get to know a bit more about him:
Tell me a bit about your role:
In my role as Support Developer, I will create a point of contact between the first line of support for customers and the development team. I’m hoping I can save some time for both teams by resolving the simpler technical issues while allowing the more experienced developers to work on exciting new software features and functionality.
Let us know a little bit about yourself (Personality, interests/hobbies, education):
Variety has been the one constant in my life and if I listed all my interests, we would be here all day! I have been obsessed with music since I was young and began playing piano at 11 which I’ve carried on until this day. Besides all things music I also love cooking, health and fitness, cats (all animals really) and combat sports.
What brought you to FEPS:
Before my role here I was in the music industry which over time became unrewarding, so I started learning to code online. I really enjoy problem solving, creating and all things tech so it was a perfect fit for my personality. After a year, I decided to take up a traineeship to further my development the end of which brought me here! I’m really looking forward to furthering my development and contributing to the team as best I can.
